Zaklopatica Bay lies on the northern side of Lastovo Island. The bay is sheltered from the north by a small island. The entrance channel is 7.0 meters deep to the east of the islet.
Shelter for yachts in the bay is good in all winds, except for strong north-easterly winds, which bring unpleasant ripples into the bay. Anchorage for yachts is in the south end of the bay at 6.0-7.0 meters. Holding is good on the sand and seaweed. There are also mooring buoys in the bay belonging to the National Park.
Yachts can be anchored on the north side of the bay as well with mooring lines to the islet. It is also possible to moor yachts to the restaurant piers or waterfront on the south shore of the bay. The depth of the piers are 3.0 - 4.0 meters.
There are four restaurants on the shore, including Triton and, rather elitist, Augusta Insula. They provide water and electricity for the yachts at the piers. The restaurants offer their own red and white wines.
There are reports that anchorage in the bay is forbidden, but I haven't seen any official prohibitions.
