Sali is located on the south-east coast of Dugi Otok Island, four miles from the south-eastern tip of Cape Cuska.
The depth of the harbor entrance is 5.0 - 6.0 meters, and at the waterfronts is 4.0 - 5.0 meters. The harbor is sheltered from the south-east by a long breakwater.
Yachts mooring on the north-east and south-west embankment stern or bow to the embankment with fixed mooring lines. Depths from 4.0 to 5.0 meters. There is water and electricity on the waterfronts.
The harbor shelters yachts well from all winds except the strong south-easterly winds, which create turbulence in the harbor.
There are a number of bars and restaurants on the shore. A supermarket is located on the north side.
In 2022, waterfront redevelopment began in Sali. Because of this, the number of berths available for yachts has been greatly reduced. In addition, the entrance path to the port has been changed. It runs along the south-west shore of the bay and the breakwater. Strictly follow of navigation marks and do not cross the line of yellow buoys.
