Yacht anchorages in Slano Bay

Slano Bay (Luka Slano) is located on the Croatian mainland coast at 12 miles north-west of Dubrovnik.

The most popular place for overnight anchoring in Slano Bay is its northern corner (1). Here is the best shelter in the bay from the prevailing winds. Anchor at a depth of 8-15 meters on the muddy bottom. Holding is good. There is a small supermarket and several restaurants in the village on the shore. You can go to ACI Marina Slano to refuel with water (13 euros).

The second (2) anchorage in the south-east corner of the bay is good in southerly winds. Anchor at 10-20 meters on the muddy bottom. Holdis good, if you have a long anchor chain. Along the shore to the village there is a trail of 1.8 km.
