Portoferraio Yacht Marina

Portoferaio, the capital and main ferry port of the island of Elba, is located on the north side of the island in the large natural bay of Portoferaio. Portoferaio Marina occupies the harbor of the old Medici port.

The marina has 70 mooring berths for yachts at the waterfront and floating pontoons. The maximum allowable length of yachts is 70 meters. Depths in the mooring areas are up to 6.5 meters. The harbor shelters yachts well from winds and waves of all directions.

On the shore there are paid showers and toilets, a lot of cafes, bars, restaurants, stores. There are many sights in the town, including those connected with Emperor Napoleon.
