Yacht moorings in Porto Azuro

Yacht Marina Porto Azuro is located in a natural bay in the north-east of Elba Island.

The marina offers 125 mooring berths for yachts on floating pontoons. The maximum allowable length of yachts is 60 meters. Depths in the marina are from 1.8 to 9.0 meters. The marina is well sheltered from winds and waves from all directions. Only with strong southerly and south-easterly winds it can be windy, but without waves.

It is also possible to moor yachts to the inside of the breakwater. The depth of the breakwater is more than 5 meters. Mooring with the use of fixed mooring lines.

The waterfront is occupied by local boats and fishing vessels.

Anchorage is also possible all around the bay at depths of 3-20 meters. The bottom is silt and seaweed. The anchor does not hold very well. The bay is open to easterly winds.
