Viareggio

The La Spezia-Livorno section of the Tuscan coast is small - only about 38 miles. The coast is smooth and there are no bays. When the weather is right, anchorings are possible almost all along the coast.

There are several marinas, the most interesting of which are the marinas of Viareggio and Pisa. The latter is the closest marina to the famous city of Pisa. Viareggio is interesting in its own right, as well as for its carnival.
