Yachts mooring in Porto Marciana

Porto Marchiana is located on the north coast of Elba on the west part of the island about eight miles to the west of Portoferraio.

There are three possibilities for overnight mooring in Porto Marchiana.

1 - Marciana Marina has 115 berths for yachts on floating pontoons connected to the north breakwater. The maximum allowed length of yachts is 30 meters. Depths at the pontoons are from 2 to 8 meters. The marina is open for yachts 24 hours a day all year round. Yachtsmen have access to a minimum standard set of services (water, electricity, shower, toilet, fuel).

2 - The Yacht Club Marciana Marina (Circulo della Vela Marciana Marina) has 220 berths for yachts, including transit yachts, on the south-west waterfront and the pontoons leading off it. The allowed length of yachts is from 4 to 15 meters. Spaces for transit yachts are available on request segreteria@cvmm.it, tel: +39 0565 99027. In addition to the standard mooring services (water, electricity, showers, toilets, fuel), the club can provide minor repairs of yachts. There is a bar, restaurant and apartments can be rented on the club premises.

3 - anchorage immediately south-east of the harbor entrance. Holding is good at depths of 4-6 meters on sandy seabed. Anchorage here is not recommended in winds from north-west to east.
