Maramoza Bay is located on the north-east coast of La Spezia Gulf 1.5 miles south-east of the harbor entrance between Cape Maramoza and Cape Maralunga.
Yachts are anchored at the entrance to the bay at depths of 10-15 meters. The seabed is sandy. Holding is good. The anchorage is open to the south and west, so it is recommended to stay here in stable calm weather.
It is forbidden anchorage and moving with engine in the bay itself, because there is an underwater archaeological park in the bay. At a depth of about 9 meters you can see two imposing Roman column of Carrara marble.
To avoid destroying this heritage, it is essential not to drop anchor in the forbidden zone!
