Yacht anchorages at Palmarola Island

The depths along the entire coast of Palmarola Island are shallow, so that the yacht can be anchored almost anywhere along the coast, of course considering the wind direction.

Still, the most popular anchorages are two. The first one is on the south of the island at depths of 5-8 meters. The bottom here is sandy, sometimes there are islets of seaweed. The anchor holds well.

The second popular yacht anchorage is located on the northern part of the west coast of the island in Cala Del Porto bay. The anchorage is at a depth of 5-10 meters. The bottom is sand, rocks and seaweed. On the shore there is the only hotel on the island and a small infrastructure around it - bar, restaurant.
