Yacht anchorage off Matias Island

Matias Island (Cayo Matias) is located 42 miles west of Cayo Largo.

Yacht anchorages at Matthias Island are located on the south-west side of the island. Yachts anchor at a depth of 2-4 meters on the sandy bottom.

It is reportedly possible to pass between the reefs from the south of the anchorage. However, we recommend going around the reef from the west. If you go from the east, it will increase your distance by only two miles.
