Sao Pedro Bay (Baia Sao Pedro) is located on the south-west coast of Sao Vicente Island.
Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 6-12 meters. The bottom is sandy. Holding is good. Good shelter for yachts in the prevailing north-easterly winds. In the eastern part of the bay local fishing boats are moored. It is not recommended to approach them.
There is an airport landing strip on the shore, but airplanes don't fly often, so the noise from them doesn't bother. There is a small village at the east end of the bay. There are a couple of bars. The north-east shore of the bay is a sandy unequipped beach. The water in the bay is clean and transparent. Turtles can be found. You should not leave your boat unattended as there are reported cases of theft.
