Yacht anchorage in the Port of Vale Knights

Port Vale Knights (Porto de Vale de Cavaleiros) is located on the west side of the island, a mile and a half to north of the main city of Sao Filipe.

Yacht anchorage is preferred in the port area under the protection of the breakwater. Depths 5-6 meters. The bottom is sandy. Holding is good. Yachts in the port are well sheltered from all winds and waves, except southerly.
