Masca Beach (Playa de Masca) is located in the northern part of the south-west coast of Tenerife, 2.5 miles north-north-west of Los Gigantos.
Masca Beach is in an unnamed cove open to the south-west a mile and a half to north of Los Gigantos. The cove is good shelter for yachts from north-east winds. Anchor is in 8-12 meters on the sandy bottom with rock outcroppings that are clearly visible in the clear water.
Beautiful place, but there are a lot of people during the day, especially on weekends. There are regular boats from Los Gigantos. 4-6 times a day the boats arrive to the bay.
The beach is sandy. You can walk through the beautiful Masca Canyon. If you have the time and desire, you can even walk the entire canyon to the Masca village.
