Yachts moorings in the fishport Panteli

Fishport Panteli is located on the north-east coast of Leros Island, 3.5 miles north of the south-eastern tip of the island.

Panteli is small harbor and usually full of fishing boats. Earlier there was a sign at the entrance of the harbor indicating that the harbor was for fishing boats only. Nevertheless, yachts are moored with their stern or bow to the inside of the breakwater if there is mooring space. Anchor at 4-8 meters depth on the sandy bottom holds well. Depths range from 4 meters at the west end of the breakwater to 1.5 meters at the root.

The harbor is goog shelter for yachts from Meltemi. Alternatively, yachts can be anchored to the west of the harbor entrance in depths of 3-5 meters.

There is water on the pier and a fuel truck can be called. Showers and toilets are available in the hotels on the shore for a small fee. There are bars, taverns, mini-market on the shore.
