The bay is well sheltered from Meltemi. It is best to anchorage near the south-west shore on the sand patch to take mooring lines from the stern of the yacht to the north-east shore.
The bay is connected with Agios Georgeos Harbor by a dirt road built in 1995. It's a 10-minute walk to Agios Georgeos Harbor. The north shore of the bay is a wild pebble beach.
