Tsangari Bay is located in the same bay as the harbor of Agios Georgios, half a mile to south-east of it.
It is best to anchorage as close as possible to the south-east shore with mooring lines from the stern of the yacht to the north-west shore. The bottom is sand and seaweed. Holding is good on the sand. There is a westerly breeze in the bay in the second partof the day. During the Meltemi there is a wave here. It is not difficult to reach the Agios Georgios harbor by dinghy.
An interesting chapel of St. John the Baptist and St. Irene is a short walk from the hill (about 15 minutes). There is a dirt road to Meghalo Chorio (about an hour walk).
