Yacht anchorage in Tsigouri

Tsigouri bay is located half a mile south-east of Mersini.

The bay is fairly well protected from Metemi, but, like Mersini, it is exposed to southerly winds. Anchor on a patch of sand at a depth of 4-5 m. Holding is good. Note that there are two cables running along the bottom of the bay and drop the anchor so that you don't get caught in the cable with it.

There is a large sandy beach with a bar and tavern on the shore. The bay is about 20 minutes walk from Chora.
