Yacht anchorages in Milou bay

The large enclosed bay of Milou (Ormos Milou) is located in the center of the island of Milos. The entrance to the bay is from the north.

The eastern part of the bay is the most suitable for yacht anchorage. Therefore, let us note only a few of the most important anchorages.

1 - anchorage south-east of Adamantas marina. The yachts anchored at depths of 5-7 meters. The bottom is sandy. Holding is goog. You can be anchored here when Meltemi is blowing.

2 - South anchorage at Achivadolimni beach at 5-7 meters depth on the sandy bottom. Anchorage is excellent when the south winds blow.

3 - anchorage in a small bay of Agios Dimitrios at a depth of 2-4 meters. The bottom is sand and some algae. Holding is good.

The cove is open to the east. There are two mooring buoys set up by tourist boats. They are available at night.
