Yacht Marina Adamantas

Yacht Marina Adamantas is located in the northern part of Milou Bay in the Adamantas city.

Adamantas Marina, like most of the new small marinas on the Greek islands, is based on a fishport, which has been here since time immemorial. Depths in the marina range from 2-3 m at the waterfront to 5-6 m at the pontoon, which stretches from the old breakwater to the east. The marina has 100 mooring berths near the floating pontoons, the waterfront and the breakwater. The maximum allowable length of yachts is 75 meters. There is water and electricity on the piers. When a yacht approaches the pier, a marina employee usually shows you where to moor and helps you with mooring the yacht.

The marina is an excellent shelter for yachts when Meltemi blows. However, in the case of strong southerly winds, there is enough area in the bay that a fairly large wave can even break over the pontoon and breakwater. In such a situation it is not safe to stay in the marina. The best thing to do in such a situation is to take out the yacht from the marina and sails to anchorage at the southeast coast of the bay at a depth of 5-10 meters on the sandy bottom.
