Provatas beach is located in the south of Milos, 5,8 miles to east of the southern tip of the island.

Yachts are anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-7 meters on the sandy bottom. Holding is good. Good shelter from Meltemi, but not from southerly winds.
There is a large sandy beach on the shore. In the middle of the bay is a small hotel and two taverns.
