Vrgada is a small island off the coast of Croatia, 20 miles south-east of Zadar and two and a half miles from the well-known Murter Island. From the island of Vrgada to the nearest point on the mainland is only two miles. The permanent population is about 200 people. There are two suitable spots on the island for overnight yachts. These are Vrgada Bay (U. Luka-Vrgada) and Sv. Andria Bay.
The island is quiet and peaceful. Tourists come here in search of peace, nature and sandy beaches.
