The small island of Zminjak is located a few hundred meters from the northern tip of Murter.

The southern and only bay of Zminjak Island provides good shelter for yachts from the Bora, but it is completely open to the south winds. It is possible to approach to the bay only from the south-west. You should not try to approach Zminjak Island by yacht through the straits between the islands Veli Vinik and Zminjak or Veli and Maly Vinik and Murter - it is shallow there!
The depths at the end of the long pier at the north-east end of the bay are about three meters. Yachts can be moored to the pier with their stern or bow with fixed mooring lines. There are also several mooring buoys in the bay, that yachts can pick up.
