Rovinj

Rovinj is a picturesque and popular city on the west coast of Istria is located 12 miles south of the port of Porec and 18 miles north of Pula.

Like many coastal towns on the Istria, Rovinj was built on a small coastal island. Today, the city is located at the end of a small peninsula at the north-western end of a shallow bay, sheltered from south-western winds by the island of St. Katharina.

Numerous attractions of Rovinj and its rich history, as well as developed tourist infrastructure and cleanliness sea made Rovinj one of the most popular resorts in Istria.

In Rovinj there is a yacht marina ACI Rovinj. Also yachts can be moored at the city waterfront in Rovinj or pick up a mooring buoy half a mile south of the city in the bay of Lon (Uvala Lon).
