Yacht anchorage in Sunj Bay

Sunj Bay (Uvala Sunj) is located in the south-east of Lopud Island.

Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-10 meters. The bottom is sand and seaweed. Holding is good on the sand. Large sand fields are located in the south-western half of the bay. The bay shelters yachts well from winds and waves from the north and west, but is not suitable for anchoring in the south and east winds.

The bay is popular with daytrippers and in the summer there are many yachts and boats here, but at the evening most of them are leaving. At the head of the bay is a large shallow sandy beach.
