Yacht anchorage in Anse Cocos

Anse Cocos is located on the south-east coast of La Digue.

Yachts are anchored all around the bay at a depth of 5-10 meters. The bottom is sand, seaweed, corals. The anchor holds well on the sand. Sections of the sandy bottom are clearly visible on the image from space.

The bay shelters yachts well during the winter season of the north-west monsoon. In summer it is possible to anchorage here only in the calm.

There are beautiful sandy beaches on the shore. There is beach bar. Snorkeling at the capes is excellent. But be careful - the wind blows from the shore!
