The Surin Islands are part of the Surin National Park so when you are anchored you must be careful to make sure it does not end up on the coral.
- the mooring of yachts between the Surin Islands. The anchor is laid at a depth about 18 meters on the sand. In the northeastern part of the bay on North Surin on the shore is the headquarters of the National Park and there are several moorings buoys which you can pick up for a small fee. There is a restaurant, showers and toilets. It is possible to refuel the boat with fresh water. The south side of the bay with a flat sandy beach is accessible by dinghy at high tide.
- Anchorage on the southeast side of North Surin. The sandy bottom starts at a depth of 15-20 meters at the edge of the reef. As you move away from the reef the depth increases rapidly. Anchoring on the slope does not hold very well, so the boat should not be left unattended. There is good snorkeling on the reef.
- Anchorage on the west side of North Surin. A small secluded cove provides good shelter for the yacht during the northeast monsoon season. Anchor at 12-15m depth on sand. Holding is good.
- Anchorage in the south of South Surin. The anchorage is close to shore at a depth of 10-15 meters.
