Butang Archipelago is located in southern Thailand in the Andaman Sea approximately 27 miles northwest of Langkawi Island and 95 miles southeast of Phuket Island.

4 - Anchorage for yachts in the south of Ko Lipe. Anchor at depth 10-15 meters on the sandy bottom. The best place to go ashore by dinghy is at the eastern end of the bay where there is a small sandy beach opposite the passage through the coral reef.

Avoid anchoring at buoys near the ferry pier.
It is possible to refuel water and fuel. On shore stores, bars, restaurants.

6 - Anchorage for yachts in the south of Ko Rawi is located to the south of the island on a sandbank at a depth of 5-10 meters east of the projecting reef opposite the beach. When approaching from the east you need to keep away from the wide reef off the island.

The current in the strait is quite strong and you need to be careful when snorkeling. There is a ranger's base of Tarutao Marine National Park on the shore. A freshwater creek flows into the sea. Near the beach there is a black tube from which you can fill water in canisters. A trail along the creek leads to a beautiful waterfall.
