Yassika Islands are located 2.5 miles south of the town of Gecek between the larger islands Gecek and Tarsane.
The Yassica archipelago consists of five small islands, the largest of which is long and narrow stretching from north to south. There are about two dozen mooring buoys along its western shore. During the day they are all occupied by commercial boats bringing tourists to swim in the clear water in the shallow from Gecek and Fethie. After 6pm the buoys are cleared and the islands become quiet.
The most sheltered spot is on the northern part of the archipelago.
There are many shallows between the islands and before anchoring you should study the chart carefully to choose a safe route.
