The village of Kale Koy is located on the mainland opposite the island of Kekova under the castle walls.
Calais Köy, the ancient Lycian town of Simena is a very picturesque place which is dominated by a crusader castle, a Lycian necropolis and submerged tombs protruding from the water.
Approach to restaurant piers of the village with caution because there are numerous underwater rocks. The bottom is seaweed and stones covered in mud and does not provide reliable anchorage. The piers themselves are used mainly by commercial vessels, bringing many tourists here during the day.
