Yacht mooring in the Kas Fishport

Fishport Kash is located on the north-east side of Kas Bay in the center of town.

Fishport Kash is a well sheltered harbor from winds from all directions. The strong westerly winds may cause some inconvenience when the tide in the harbor begins to rise considerably. At night there are often strong gusts from the north-west. The harbor is small and cramped almost always filled with tourist and diving boats.

Yachts are moored at the breakwater or city waterfront stern or bow. Usually a harbormaster will meet incoming yachts and indicate the mooring location.

Showers and toilets are available for an additional fee.

Today Kas is a very touristy town full of activity with a lovely fruit market and many restaurants and stores. The music and noise from the restaurants is loud until deep night.
