Yacht mooring in Agkistri fishport

Agkistri fishport is located at the northernmost point of the island in the village of Megalahori.

Agnistri Harbor provides good shelter for yachts in all winds, except winds from east directions, which create a bad wave in the harbor. The harbor consists of a long curved north breakwater, a short south-east pier and a pontoon attached to the breakwater opposite the harbor entrance.

The depth at the entrance to the harbor is 4.0 - 5.0 meters. At the breakwater the depth varies from 2.5 meters at the inner corner to 4. 5 meters at the outer end. Depths along the pontoon are 3.5 - 4.0 meters.

Yachts can be moored anywhere in the harbor where their draught allows, but the main mooring place for yachts is the breakwater, since there is water and electricity.

There are several taverns and bars in the village, there is a small supermarket.
