Yacht anchorage off Dorusa Island

The small island of Dorusa is located at the south-western tip of Agkistri Island.

At Dorusa Island, yachts can be anchored in several places.

First, in the strait between the island of Agkistri and the islet of Dorusa, south of the small islet of Aponiso, connected by a dam to the island of Agkistri. You should anchored closer to Angistri or Dorusa. It is possible to take long mooting lines from stern to the shore.

Second, between Agkistri and Aponiso north of the dam. There is space for just a few yachts.

All of these anchorages are good only in calm weather, as the strait between Agkistri and Dorusa has a north-south direction and is blown by the prevailing winds.

These anchorages are attractive not only for the clearest water, but for the possibility to land and hike, both lazy and almost climbing to the small Greek chapel, located almost on top of the island of Dorusa.

There is a tavern on the island of Agлistri by the dam that connects it to the island of Aponiso.
