Anchorage of yachts in the East Bay

East Bay is the most suitable bay on Formikoula Island for overnight anchorage of yachts.

The east bay is small. It can accommodate 3-4 yachts if they are took lines ashore. The bottom inside the bay is sandy, at the entrance to the bay - algae. Depth is 3-10 meters. Bottom is sandy. The bay shelters yachts from prevailing north-west winds quite well, but still it is better to stay here for night anchorage only in calm weather.
