Kamari Bay (Ormos Kamari) is located on the south-west side Kos Island in the Dodecanese Archipelago of Greece. The port of Kefalos is located at the western side of Kamari Bay.
Kamaris Bay has two types of yacht moorings.
1 - Several yachts can be moored on the south-east side of the main pier. Depths at the pier are about 5 meters. Yachts are moored stern with own anchor. Good shelter from Meltemi. During the day, the ferries constantly arriving created a nuisance wave.
2 - Yachts can be anchored to the south or north of the harbor at depths of 3-6 meters on the sandy bottom. Holdsing is good. Anchorage to the south of the harbor provides better shelter from Meltemi.
Next of the harbor is a nice tavern. From the harbor to the village and Kefalos Castle is a 2.3 km walk.
