Yacht anchorage in Pori bay

Pori Bay is located on the east of the Upper Koufonissia Island. On the Navionics maps the bay is unnamed. For its reference we use the name of the beach in it.

Yachts are anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-6 meters on the sandy bottom. Holding is good. Good shelter from Meltemi, but since the north shore of the bay is low, it will be quite windy in the bay during Meltemi, although without waves.

There is the large sandy Pori beach. It is a very popular spot during high season and especially during weekends, when local yachts from Naxos and Paros come here. There are two taverns on the shore.
