Yacht anchorage in Timijiraque Bay

Timijiraque Bay (Bahia De Timijiraque) is located on the east coast of El Hierro, one mile south-south-west of Estaca harbor.

Timihirake Bay is open to the east, i.e. to the prevailing north-easterly winds, so anchoring is possible only when the weather is consistently calm. Yachts are anchored in the center of the bay at the depth of 5-8 meters on the sandy bottom. Holding is good.

There is a beach and a village with a couple of restaurants and mini-market on the shore.
