Yacht anchorage at Almorranas Beach

Almorranas Beach (Playa de las Almorranas) is located in the middle of the eastern coast of El Hierro, 4 miles south-south-west of the port of Estaca.

The yacht anchorage at Almorranas Beach gives some shelter to the yachts in the prevailing winds. For better shelter it is advisable to be anchored closer to the arch. Depths are 5-12 meters. The bottom is sand and stones.
