We will call the Kekova region the island of Kekova, the strait between it and the mainland, the mainland coast opposite Kekova Island, and a number of small islands nearby. But it's better to look at a chart to understand what I'm talking about. Among yachtsmen this area is often called Kekova Road and the strait between Kekova Island and the mainland - Oludeniz (Blue Lagoon).
Kekova is an amazing little world with lots of secluded coves where you can anchor your yacht, with its own submerged town, with small village restaurants, there is even its own pirate cove, from which Turkish pirates attacked merchant ships.
Kekova is rarely accessed by travelers on rented yachts, although it's only 67 nautical miles from the nearest place to rent a yacht (Fethiye) to Kekova.
