Fishport Akyarlar

The small fishport Akyarlar is located in the south of the Bodrum peninsula 8 miles to south-west from the city of Bodrum.

The yachts can have mooring in the fishport Akyarlar  in rare cases becouse it is packed with local tourist vessels. The depth of the outer pier is about 2.5 meters. If the weather permits the yachts can have mooring astern to the south side of the outer pier using owns anchor and long lines to pier since the mole profile does not allow you to get close to it.

Most of the yachts have anchorage in NE or NW part of the bay at depths of 5-6 meters. The bottom is sand and seaweed. Holding is good. The bay is goog sheltered from Meltemi but it's open to southerly winds. Strong gusts is possible during Meltemi but there are no waves so the anchorage here is quite comfortable and reliable.

There are restaurants, bars and several minimarkets on the coast. Place resort, a lot of people.
