Kusadasi

Kusadasi is a booming tourist city. On the roadstead there can be up to ten cruise ships that deliver tourists to Efes. Numerous hotels and boarding houses are located along the waterfront. Kusadasi is the best place to visit ancient Efes.

A huge number of souvenir shops, carpet shops and restaurants exist to satisfy all the needs of tourists.

A yacht marina is a popular winter mooring for yachts on the water and is often filled to capacity. The marina is located about a kilometer from the city itself, but it is a pleasant walk along the waterfront. Kusadasi means "Island of Birds". It was built on the site of the ancient Neapolis of which nothing remains.
