Yacht anchorage in Santa Maria Bay

Santa Maria Bay is located on the west coast of Comino Island.

Yachts are anchored all around the bay, except in the area designated for swimming, at a depth of 3-10 metres. The seabed is sandy. Holding is good. Good shelter from all winds and waves, except northerly.

To the east of the bay across the small peninsula of Ras tal-Ghemieri is the cave of Santa Maria.

The south shore of the bay is a sandy beach. On the west shore there are several villas.
