Yacht anchorages at Aragon Castle

The Aragonese Castle is located on the east coast of Ischia island on an islet connected to the shore by a causeway.

Depending on the wind direction there are anchorages on one side of the causeway. An anchor of 4.0 - 8.0 meters in sand and mud can be thrown wherever there is a space. The anchor holds well on both sides of the causeway. Anchoring on the south side is usually better in prevailing winds, but beware of rocky shoals south of the anchorage.
