The village and ferry port of Karavostasis is located in the south-east of the north-east coast of Folegandros Island.
Yachts can be moored at the small pier, extending from the middle of the breakwater to the west. The depth at the pier is about 5 meters. Yachts are moored stern to the pier at own anchor. There is space for 6-7 yachts. Good shelter from SW-W-NW winds. With winds from other directions, a wave will come into the bay.
Also yachts can be anchored to the west and south-west of the pier, in order not to disturb the ferries. Depths are 3-6 meters. The bottom is sand, seaweed and some rocks. Holding is good on the sand.
There is a beach, a couple of taverns and a mini-market on the shore. There is a bus to Chora. The water on the pier is not suitable for drinking.
