Yacht anchorages near the Sisters Islands

The Sister Islands have two anchorages for yachts.  Both are at Older Sister Island (Grande Soeur).

The most interesting anchorage is located to the east of Older Sister Island, as yachts will be sheltered from the winter north-west monsoon here. Yachts anchor at 6-8 meters depth in front of the shack on the beach. The bottom is sandy. Holding is good.

The west anchorage can be used only in calm weather, as it is open to prevailing winds all year round.

Older Sister Island (Grande Soeur) is private. You will have to pay to go ashore.
