Yacht anchorage in Possession Bay

Possession Bay (Anse Possession) is located on the north-east coast of Praslin two miles south-east of the island's northern tip.

Yachts are anchored north of the bay at 5-10 meters depth picking out patches of sand on the bottom to avoid coral damage and to anchor well. This anchorage shelters yachts well during the summer south-east monsoon but during the winter north-west monsoon season can only be used during consistently quiet weather.
