Archipielago Jardines de la Reina

The Jardines de la Reina archipelago is the third largest barrier reef in the world. In 2010, the archipelago was declared a National Park. The sea is shallow with a lot of reefs. The islands are low, often covered with mangroves. Navigation is difficult. The archipelago has several anchorages that yachts can approach.

The archipelago is known primarily among divers for its rich and diverse underwater flora and fauna.

It is unknown at this time whether yachts are allowed to enter and be anchored in the National Park.
