Yacht Marina Porto Santo

Porto Santo yacht marina is located on the south coast of the island a mile to east of the main town Vila Baleira. The marina is 40 miles north-east of the archipelago capital of Funchal on Madeira Island.

Yacht Marina Porto Santo offers 140 berths for yachts from 6 to 30 meters on floating pontoons. The minimum depth of the pontoons is 3 meters. The pontoons are old and their condition is not the best. It is allowed to anchor in the port area.

During calm weather many yachts are anchored to the west of the port opposite the beach at the depth of 7-10 meters.

The bottom is sandy and holding is good.

There is a shipyard of 10,000 square meters that can accommodate up to 80 monohull yachts (on metal sleds) no longer than 5 meters in length. There is a 25-ton travel lift that can lift yachts up to 4.40 meters wide.

The distence from marina to main town Vila Baleira is 1.8 km. The town has restaurants, bars, stores.
