Yacht anchorage at Grande Selvagens Island

The yacht anchorage is located on the south-west of Grande Selvagens Island.

Yachts are anchored in the bay at a depth of 8-12 meters, choosing a place with a sandy bottom. The Grande Selvagens Island is a Nature Reserve, which requires permission from the Madeira government to visit.

On the shore of the bay is the research base of the reserve.
