Marmaris National Park is located in an area of 2,206 hectares just 6 kilometers from the city of Marmaris. State highways 550 and 400 pass through the borders of the national park.

The flora of the national park is mainly represented by Calabrian pine (Pinus brutia). Together with oak, sycamore and cypress it forms a beautiful landscape in the valley. Also in the park grow wild olive, strawberry tree, sumac, oleander and laurel, which are widespread in the park. Of the 541 species growing in the park 5 are endemics of the region - Onopordum caricum, Globularia dumulosa, Cyclamen trochopteranthum, Campanula fruticulosa, Liquidambar orientalis.

Marmaris National Park has a rich fauna. There are 112 species of birds, 213 species of insects, 35 species of fish, 21 species of mammals, 29 species of reptiles and 7 species of amphibians. In addition to wild goats, which inhabit the area between Marmaris and Koycegiz, bears, foxes, pigs, red squirrels, weasels, hedgehogs, lynxes, martens, jackals and others are found here.

There are beautiful quiet and pristine beaches around Marmaris National Park. Not far from the park is Paradise Island Cennet Adası, the ancient Kari cities of Fiskos and Amos.

The park offers walking and horseback riding tours.
