Yacht moorings in Livorno Port

The industrial port of Livorno is located 26 miles south of Viareggio on the Toscana coast of Italy. All moorings are located in the Old Port (Porto Medicho) in the inner harbor of the port.

Yachts pass through the big outer port into the inner harbor (Porto Medicho), where there are several choices for mooring at the piers.

1 - Yacht Club Livorno, with 120 moorings on a long pontoon and waterfront.

Depths in the range of 3.0 - 4.0 meters. Maximum allowable length of the yacht is 15 meters. Shelter is good from winds and waves of all directions. Showers and toilets in the yacht club.

2 - Lusben Pier with 20 mooring berths on the waterfront. The maximum allowable length of a yacht is 80 meters. Depths in the range from 3.0 to 6.0 meters. The shelter is good from winds and waves of all directions. Low price.

3 - City waterfront. There is mooring space for several yachts. Mooring is alongside. No facilities. Free of charge.

4 - Private marina Pontili-per-Soci. Maximum allowable length of yachts 21 meters, Depths at the quay and pontoons 3-6 meters. Transit yachts are not allowed.

Porto Medico is a popular point among yachtsmen, because from here it is convenient to make excursions to Livorni, as well as to Florence and Pisa. Supermarket and other stores within 5-20 minutes on foot. Restaurants nearby.
